UWA Security is committed to the welfare and safety of students, staff and visitors to the campus.

Our Security team is responsible for responding to on-campus emergencies and protecting the University's assets from theft, damage and destruction.

Personal safety incident/concerns

In addition to calling the relevant number/s listed above, it may be necessary to complete an on-line personal safety incident report form for personal safety incidents or concerns. Examples include, but are not limited to:

  • Threats of physical harm
  • Alleged criminal acts including stalking
  • Concerns for or missing persons
  • Suspicious person/activity

Physical environment incident/concerns

In addition to calling the relevant number/s listed above, it may be necessary to complete an on-line incident report form for physical environment incidents or concerns. Examples include, but are not limited to:

  • Alarm system fault
  • Fallen tree limbs obstructing access or egress ways
  • Maintenance/Graffiti Issues

Theft or lost property

In addition to calling the relevant number/s listed above, it may be necessary to complete an on-line incident report form for theft or lost property concerns.

In addition to, or as an alternative to completing an Incident Report form, individuals may choose to access external and/or on-campus support services; or to submit a complaint with the University's Complaint Resolution Unit.

UWA Counselling Service

Incident reports, as a rule of thumb, should not be completed for reporting threats of self-harm, attempted suicide, or mental health effects or similar confidential issues. Individuals may choose to access external and/or on-campus support services to report/address these issues.
